LEWISTON – The Lewiston Multi-Purpose Center and Auburn Recreation and Parks will present Wednesdays in the Park again this summer. All performances begin at 10 a.m. The shows and dates are as follows:

June 25, Marcotte Park, Steve Thomas Magic: Thomas is a skilled master magician who will perform magic, mystery and illusion.

July 2, Festival Park, Auburn, Trickster Fox: A program of humor, circus arts and audience participation designed to enhance teamwork skills and creativity with enrichment and success for all.

July 9, Multi-Purpose Center, Drumming About You: Everybody joins Bob Bloom in rhythm when they play his array of drums and percussion instruments. All ages are “hands-on” with the music of Brazil, Cuba, North America and Africa.

July 16, Auburn Municipal Beach, Too Human: A presentation by Ellen (guitar/vocals), Roger (percussion/keyboards/vocals) and “Studio Stu,” their bebopping washtub bassist. Their blues/jazz influenced sound has gritty vocals, sweet harmonies and driving rhythms

July 23, Railroad Park, Double Vision: A visual feast of skills and wit. Using their physical skills of mime, juggling, manipulation, storytelling and dance, they blend physical and verbal comedy a la George and Gracie (only with flying objects).

July 30, Auburn Tot Lot, Wayne from Maine: An adventure for children of all ages. Wayne inspires young minds with songs and musical sounds and styles.

Aug. 6, Kennedy Park, Peter Gross Magic and More: A show filled with illusions, sleight of hand, juggling and audience participation.
