MADERA, Calif. – Gloria Therese Lacroix, 75, of Madera, Calif., formerly of Lewiston, died Monday, June 23, at Hinds Hospice after a brief illness.

Born in Lewiston, Dec. 15, 1927, to parents Louis and Angelina Fournier, she was a resident of Lewiston from 1927 to 1951. She graduated from Lewiston High School in 1946.

On Sept. 26, 1949, she married Philippe Lacroix (also a former resident of Lewiston), who passed away on March 5, 1997.

She was a member of St. Joachim Catholic Church in Madera, where she resided for the past 20 years.

Survivors include her daughter, Diane L. Lacroix-Ball of Edmonds, Wash.; two sons, Michael G. of Madera, Calif., and Paul P. of Albuquerque, N.M.; two brothers, Roger E. Fournier of Lewiston and Maurice R. Fournier of Auburn; one sister, Lorraine Ligthart of Lewiston; one grandson, Marc Lacroix of Albuquerque, N.M.; and two nieces, Julie Chasse of Windham and Therese Russell of Auburn.
