OXFORD – Korean War veterans will be recognized with a concert featuring the 195th National Guard Band at 7 p.m. Tuesday, July 1, at the Anderson-Staples American Legion Post 112 hall, Route 121. This is the 50th anniversary of the Korean War armistice. The guest speaker will be Col. Robert Carmichael. The concert will be held rain or shine. A dance floor will available. The Ladies Auxiliary will have a variety of refreshments for sale.

NORWAY – An Oxford Hills nonprofit expo will be held from 1 to 6 p.m. Wednesday, July 2, at the Norway Town Office. People can learn about Norway’s community organizations, volunteer opportunities and service providers. It is sponsored by Western Maine Development, the Growth Council of Oxford Hills and the Oxford Hills Grant Network. It is supported by a grant from the Department of Housing and Urban Development.
