PORTLAND – Bishop Joseph J. Gerry, OSB, announces the following assignments for the Roman Catholic Diocese of Portland:

The Rev. Paul LaBree will take his first assignment as parochial vicar at Holy Cross Parish, Lewiston. He will also assist the Rev. Frank Murray in the Diocesan Vocations Office; will serve as chaplain to the Youth Ministry Advisory Board and as chaplain at St. Dominic Regional High School, Auburn.

The Rev. Dave Raymond will take his first assignment as parochial vicar at Holy Rosary Parish, Caribou, St. Denis Parish, Fort Fairfield, and St. Louis Parish, Limestone.

The Rev. Thomas Farley, serving as parochial vicar at St. Louis, St. Philip’s and Sacred Heart parishes, Auburn, will become pastor of St. Patrick’s Parish, Lewiston.

The Rev. Roland Nadeau, serving as parochial vicar at St. Patrick’s and Saints Peter and Paul parishes, Lewiston, will be chaplain for Mercy Hospital in Portland.

Patricia Phillips, serving as parish coordinator at St. Joseph Parish, Gardiner, will be assigned as parish coordinator for Sacred Heart Parish, Lubec, and St. Timothy Parish, Campobello. She will also assist with pastoral ministry at the University of Maine in Machias, the Machias hospital and the county and Bucks Harbor jails.

The Rev. Eugene Gaffey, most recently serving as pastor at Our Lady of Good Hope Parish, Camden, will be pastor of St. Joseph Parish, Eastport, and the Mission of St. John the Evangelist, Pembroke. He will also serve as sacramental minister to St. Ann Parish, Perry.
