LISBON FALLS – Lisbon Adult Education held its first annual certificate awards ceremony at Lisbon High School on June 12.
Three students earned a total of six certificates. Certificates were awarded in computer technology and word processing. The requirements of each certificate program include 100 hours of study in specified classes, which can be classroom-based or online.
Students honored at the ceremony were Sandra Berry of Brunswick, Joyce Elwell of Durham and Ruth White of Durham. Each received a certificate in computer technology and a certificate in word processing. All three are former employees of Eastland Shoe Co.
