NORWAY’S YESTERDAYS: Kirk Mohney of the Maine Historic Preservation Commission recently gave a presentation on “Norway’s Yesterdays” at the Norway Memorial Library. Mohney showed photographs and slides on many familiar old houses and businesses on Main Street. His talk was the first in a four-part series sponsored by the library. Upcoming programs will be 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. July 9, “The Norway Fire of 1894;” July 23, “Lake Pennesseewassee”; and Aug. 6, “Norway’s Characters,” presented by the Rev. Don McAllister.
