STONEHAM – The Rev. George Frobig reminds members of the Oxford County United Parish churches that two worship services will be held each Sunday during July and August. Services will be at 9 a.m. at the Stoneham Congregational Church and 10:30 a.m. at the North Waterford Congregational Church.

The second public bean and casserole supper of the summer will be held at the North Waterford Congregational Church vestry from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 15. Tickets for adults are $6 and children under 12, $3.

Bell Hill service

OTISFIELD – The Bell Hill Meeting House Association has scheduled a planning and preparation meeting for the annual service at 5 p.m. Wednesday, July 16, at the meetinghouse.

All committee members should attend. Others interested in helping are welcome. For more information, call President Caroline Zilinsky at 539-8178.

BERLIN, N.H. – The Shaw Brothers will return to the Community Arts Center, 155 Emery St. at 7 p.m. Thursday, July 17. Admission is charged.

Award winner

BETHEL – Russell Sage College in Troy N.Y., has announced that Ashley Stambolis of Telstar Regional High School is among the recipients of the school’s Student Sage Award for 2003.

E-bay auction

BETHEL – The Project Opportunity Scholarship Fund at Telstar Regional High School is holding a benefit auction on E-bay with four items donated by area artists and craftsmen.

The items have been on E-bay, a popular Internet auction site, for the past week and are set to close on Friday, July 4.

Anyone interested in participating in the fund-raising auctions may visit www.ebay.com and type “Bethel Maine” in the Search box.
