Lewiston

• A car driven by Jonathan T. Smith, 23, of Lewiston, struck the back of a vehicle driven by Elizabeth A. Espling, 36, of Lewiston, while Espling was stopped in traffic at 2:30 p.m. Thursday on Pine Street, near Park Street. Damage to Smith’s 1989 Acura was estimated at $3,000; to Espling’s 1994 Ford, $1,500.

• Vehicles driven by David M. Corbin, 52, and Danielle M. Cloutier, 17, both of Lewiston, collided at 10:50 a.m. Thursday at College and Bartlett streets. Damage to the 1993 GMC, driven by Corbin and owned by Raymond E. Webb, was estimated at $1,000; to Cloutier’s 1995 Nissan, $2,500.

• John Moody, 23, of Lewiston, lost control of his car and struck a tree when his brake line failed at 1:25 p.m. Thursday on Lisbon Street. Damage to his 1990 Oldsmobile was estimated at $2,000.

• Vehicles driven by Diane M. Milligan, 54, of Rumford, and Jeffrey Burgess, 18, of Dixfield, collided at 5 p.m. Wednesday at Center Street and Stetson Road. Damage to Milligan’s 2000 GMC was estimated at $4,000; to the 1997 Ford, driven by Burgess and owned by Seltzer & Rydholm, of Auburn, $2,000.

• Trucks driven by Shawn L. Flaherty, 29, of Lewiston, and Joey J. Bilodeau, 31, of Auburn, collided at 6:23 a.m. Wednesday at Center Street and North River Road. Damage to the 1988 Chevrolet, driven by Flaherty and owned by Franklin R. Tilton of Jay was estimated at $6,000; to Bilodeau’s 1999 Dodge, $4,500.
