AUBURN – Traffic snarls are anticipated in the downtown area as crews begin working on railroad crossings in the Hampshire Street area.
The work is expected to continue for three days.
Auburn Highway Department supervisor Richard Keene said the work will begin Tuesday on Library Avenue.
Crews will then move along to Spring Street to work on another crossing before finishing up on Hampshire Street later in the week.
Keene said the project is expected to be completed Thursday or Friday.
