Gov. Baldacci and Maine lawmakers passed a law to stop smoking in bars, bingo houses, all lounges and pool halls. The governor said Maine stands to be the fifth state to mandate smokeless bars, lounges and other businesses.
I’m not a smoker, never was, but it seems to me that the United States of America is looking more like Russia by the minute.
Now the legislature is providing cleaner indoor air yet the outdoor air is bad for your health. This is another way to close down bars and clubs. This is getting out of control. The people should vote on the issue of smoking in businesses, not Baldacci and lawmakers.
