BETHEL – The Bethel Rotary Club recently announced the recipients of their 2003 Scholarships.

Scholarship Committee Chairman Kevin Finley listed the winners as follows: Heather Zimmerman, $1,000 Floyd Mason Memorial Educational Assistance Award; Sarah Gamble, $1,500 Ed Quinn Memorial Educational Assistance Award and the Presidential Freedom Award; Adam Tanguay, 1,000 Charles Field Memorial Educational Assistance Award; Brian Zinchuk, $1,000 Bill Conary Memorial Education Assistance Award; and Lauren Hart, $1,500 Dick Verville Memorial Educational Assistance Award and Presidential Freedom Award.

These scholarships are made possible predominately through proceeds from the club’s annual events of yard sale and auction, golf tournament and country breakfasts.

These scholarships are titled after the club’s charter members. The Bethel Rotary Club was chartered on June 24, 1974, and will be celebrating its 30th Rotary year.
