The Station Road ,for all of the people that do not know where it is, is in Danville Junction. It is the road that has separate railroads on both sides of it.
This road is so bad now that we call it pothole alley. We have signed a petition stating that we want it fixed. We have made numerous calls and still have not gotten anywhere.
Yes, we have gotten some asphalt right after it rains for the holes. This does a really good job sticking when there is water in the potholes. Due to an increased use by dump trucks, the road has gotten worse and still the Public Works Department has done nothing to fix it.
If you have been on this road you know what I am talking about, and if you have not driven on it yet, we invite you to come on down and try out the road. It’s guaranteed to do a number on your shocks and struts. If public works cannot fix it, at least bring some gravel and we will be happy with that.
