1929 – 2003

LEWISTON – Gerard J. Fee Sr., 73, of Lewiston, died Thursday, July 10, at Central Maine Medical Center.

Born in Boston, Mass., Dec. 22, 1929, he was the foster son of Harry and Mary Quinn and was educated in Massachusetts schools before coming to Lewiston in 1949 at the age of 19.

He was a U.S. Army veteran, having served during the Korean Conflict and had also served in the National Guard.

He worked for many years in the local shoe industry and also worked at the Bates and Libbey Mills. He later worked for several years at Louie’s Clothing Store until his retirement.

He enjoyed woodworking and watching movies.

Survivors include two daughters, Marry Ann Fee of Brunswick and Janice Fee of Richmond, Va.; one son, Gerard J. Fee Jr. of Lewiston; four grandchildren, Louie and Jessica Fee, both of Brunswick and Chase and Chelsea Campbell, both of Virginia; one great-grandson, Cody Fee of Brunswick; also by his special companion, Angelina Gauthier of Auburn; and by several foster brothers and sisters of Massachusetts.
