1915 – 2003
LEWISTON – Marie Rose Perrier, 88, of Poland died Wednesday, July 9, at Maison Marcotte Living Center.
She was born in Lewiston on April 29, 1915, the daughter of August and Delina Oulette Plourde. She was educated in Lewiston schools. She had been employed at Gould and Scammon for many years, retiring in 1969.
She was a very active member of Our Lady of Ransom Church Guild and a 50 plus year member of Busy Bee’s of Poland doing charitable work.
She was an avid reader, enjoyed quilting and was an expert pie maker. She married Bertrand L. Perrier on June 29, 1935 he passed away on April 29, 2001.
She is survived by a daughter, Pauline Kilgore and her husband Gaylen of Poland; two sons, Henry B. and his wife Joan of Sabattus and Richard G. of Allenstown, N.H.; five grandchildren, G. Michael Kilgore and his wife Mary of Horsham, Pa., Celeste Sampson and her husband Dennis of Poland, Steven Perrier and John Perrier both of Sabattus and Julie Ann Perrier of Candia, N.H.; two great-grandchildren, Heather Jordan and Jeremy Sampson; three great-great-grandchildren, Keith, Kyle and Abigail Jordan; three sisters, Blandine Perrier and her husband Armand of Lewiston, Geralda Plourde and Georgette Gosselin and her husband Charles all of Lewiston and Florida; a brother, Gaston Plourde and his wife Irene of Auburn and Florida; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by two grandchildren, Pamela A. Kilgore and David W. Kilgore; and a brother, August Plourde.
