1923 – 2003

UNION – Rebecca Evangeline Leonard, 80, of Mechanic Falls went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, July 9, at her summer home on Senebec Lake.

She was born in Lewiston on March 5, 1923, the daughter of William and Katherine Greaton. She attended Edward Little High School and had been a homemaker all of her life.

She married Clement Leonard on Feb. 9, 1962. She and her husband wintered in Zephyrhills, Fla., where they enjoyed giving of their time to the Wesleyan Church as lay ministers. They also spent a lot of time with their daughter, Beverly Morin in Mechanic Falls. She will be dearly missed by her husband, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is survived by her husband of Mechanic Falls and Zephyrhills, Fla.; nine children; 26 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren; three sisters; and two brothers.
