WATERFORD – The North Waterford Congregational Church will hold a public supper from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 15, at the church. The menu will offer baked beans, American chop suey, casseroles, salads, brown bread, rolls, beverages and strawberry shortcake. It will be $6 for adults, and $3 for children under 12.
Girls soccer tryouts to be held
OXFORD – The Oxford County Soccer Club will hold tryouts for the girls travel team for the 2003 fall season. The team will consist of girls entering the middle school this fall. Spots on the team are open to all girls living in Oxford County. Tryouts will be held from 4 to 5:30 p.m. Sunday, July 20, at the Gouin Complex in South Paris. Pee Wee golf registration open
PARIS – The Paris Hill Country Club will again host the Maine Pee Wee Championship Golf Tournament for 2003. Registration is now being conducted for the Aug. 3 event. Children ages 12 and under are welcome to play. Trophies and prizes will be awarded to all age brackets. Proceeds will be given to local children’s charity. For more information, call 743-2371.
