From Vaseline on the teeth to Vagisil powder mixed with face powder, the beauty secrets of pageant contestants often sound bizarre.
Even Mrs. Maine 2003 agreed.
Lynch found a Web site containing beauty tips from Mrs. Texas 2002, printed them out and highlighted ones that she would consider.
She didn’t highlight hemorrhoid cream to tighten the skin under the eyes or Vagisil powder to help with oily skin, but she did highlight manicures and body waxing.
While other competitors pay more than $500 to bring a professional hair and makeup artist to the competition, Lynch will do her own hair and makeup.
She will use natural colors for her cheeks and lips, wear her short blond hair down and use mascara to accentuate her eyes.
