1937 – 2003

PALATKA, Fla. – Joseph E. Soucy, 65, of Pomona Park, Fla., passed suddenly at his home on July 14.

Born in Rumford Oct. 11, 1937, the son of Rudolph and Bessie (Collins) Soucy. He graduated from Stephens High School in 1959, moving on to Boise Cascade where he retired.

On Oct. 20, 1994 he married the former Linda Hibbard of Pownal.

Survivors include his wife, Linda of 19 years; a sister, Eva May Frechette; and a brother, Albert Soucy; four daughters, Beverly, Maryellen, Linda and Brenda; and five stepsons, Harold, Charlie, Jody, Tony and Stanley Hibbard; eight grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents.
