ENDICOTT, N.Y. – Steve Lowery kept his lead at the B.C. Open on Saturday, completing his second straight 8-under 64 for a four-shot edge.

Lowery was forced to play the last seven holes of the second round a day late because of a five-hour rain delay Friday.

He made a birdie on the par-5 No. 12 after a 45-minute fog delay. He followed with birdies at Nos. 13, 16 and the par-3 17th to finish at 128, ahead of Pat Bates, Alex Cejka, and Brett Quigley, who were tied for second.

Bates had a 9-under 63, his best round of the year, Cejka had his second straight 66 and Quigley shot 65.

Steve Allan and John E. Morgan shot 65s and were another shot behind.

Michael Bradley, playing in only his second PGA Tour event of the year, was at 10-under 134 after his second straight 67. He was tied with Robert Gamez and David Gossett, who also had to complete their rounds on Saturday. Gossett shot 65 and Gamez had a 66.

Mallon, Han tied

for third-round lead

NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. – Meg Mallon birdied the last four holes in a 6-under 65 Saturday and was tied for the lead with Hee-Won Han after three rounds of the LPGA Big Apple Classic.

Han, who lost this tournament in a playoff last year, was tied for the lead entering the third round. She birdied the 18th hole at Wykagyl Country Club to cap a 68 that left her tied with Mallon at 11-under 202.

Cindy Figg-Currier, who was tied for the lead with Han, had a 73 and was third, five shots back. First-round leader Mi-Hyun Kim had a 71 and was at 208.

Wagner, Bartkowski

tied for lead

STATELINE, Nev. – Actor Jack Wagner had seven birdies in a 30-point round Saturday for a share of the lead with Steve Bartkowski in the American Century celebrity golf championship.

Wagner and Bartkowski had 51 points under the modified Stableford scoring system, with eagles worth six points, birdies three, pars one, bogeys zero and double bogeys minus-two.

Bartkowski made a 25-foot eagle putt on the par-5 16th hole.

Rick Rhoden, seeking his sixth victory in the event was third at 45.
