1929 – 2003
LEWISTON – Lorraine Giguere, 73, of Gayton Road, Lewiston died July 19 at Central Maine Medical Center with her loving family by her side.
She was born in Lewiston on November 10, 1929, the daughter of Wilfred and Lydia Pelchat.
In her 73 years she worked in several local businesses and was a proud mother of two children. She married Roger Giguere in 1984 and lived out the last 19 years of her life with him by her side.
She is survived by her husband Roger; son James McKenzie of Lewiston; daughter Cheryl and her husband Ed Bouchard of Auburn; brothers Joseph and his wife Betty Pelchat of Auburn, Bert and his wife Joanne Peltchat of Lisbon; sisters Lucille and her husband Byron Smith of Lisbon, Lyette and her husband Frank Schychardt of Kansas, Doris and her husband Richard Worcester of Arizona; step-daughters Diane Ingrisasano of Lewiston, Sandy and her husband Paul Collins of Turner, Sue Pettingil of Turner; step-son Donald and his wife Tammy Giguere of Turner; four grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; 12 step-grandchildren; and two step-great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her first husband James Mckenzie in 1981; and sister Norma Plourde of Lewiston.
She is a true treasure to her entire family and all her friends, she will be sadly missed.
