AUBURN – Martindale Country Club will host a Fight Against Alzheimer’s on Wednesday, Aug. 6. Participants will get a chance to win a new car on the ninth hole, bid on live and silent auctions, and win prizes for longest drive and skins.

All those interest can call Martindale at 782-1107 for information on sponsorship opportunities. Registration is at 9 a.m. and the playing fee is $100 per person or $400 a foursome.

Your contribution includes a round of golf, cart rental, continental breakfast, grille, hors d’oeuvre reception, and an awards presentation.

This will be a four-ball format with team and individual points.

The schedule of events is as follows: 9 a.m. to 9:45 is registration, breakfast, and a silent auction; shotgun start at 10 a.m., with a putting contest and grille between nines; the day concludes with a live auction, hors d’oeuvre reception, and awards ceremony at 4 p.m..
