Farmington – Penny J. Rogers, P.T., has been named the new director of Rehabilitation Services at Sandy River Center for Healthcare & Rehabilitation in Farmington, according to facility Administrator Geri Bryant.

A graduate of the University of New England, Rogers has experience in directing and performing physical therapy in acute care settings and comes to Sandy River from an area hospital. She lives in Madison.

Sandy River Center for Healthcare & Rehabilitation is a 90-bed health-care center devoted to skilled nursing, rehabilitation programs and assisted living. It is an Eden Alternative setting that involves residents in decision-making and includes children, family members, plants and animals in an enriched community.
