KINGFIELD – Patricia (Patsy) Ann Woods, 70, of Kingfield, passed away July 22, at home, after a short battle with cancer.

Born in Phillips, Aug. 22, 1932, to parents Faris Dustin and Hank Whittemore, she attended school in Phillips and was a 1952 graduate of Phillips High School.

She worked various jobs outside the home, but her main career was being a loving wife and mother. She loved spending time with her family, singing in the choir at church and doing church activities.

Survivors include her husband of 23 years, Albert (Woody) Woods of Kingfield; a sister, Carla Pinkham and her husband, Danny of Kingfield; a son, Shane Heath and his wife, Renee of Acton; three daughters, Laureen Heath of Lewiston, Jeri Heath and Greg Bartley of Poland and Bonnie Heath of Mechanic Falls; a stepdaughter, Peggy LaFera and husband, Bob of Claremont, N.H.; grandchildren, Jonathan, Samantha and her husband, Shayne, Dianna, Nikki and Martina DeCosta and Stephen Hairston, John (J.J.), Nicholas, Tia, Zachary, Jessica, Jake, Ashley and Shanee; and great-grandchildren, Devyn, Dakota, Kayedn, Dylan, Nathan and Tricia.

She was predeceased by her parents.
