1975 – 2003

AUGUSTA – Kathleen Mimi Danielle Dostie, 27, died unexpectedly as a result of a brain injury on May 30.

She was born Sept. 23, 1975, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Lewiston. Her birth parents were Marcel Joseph Doyon and Nellie Irene (Lovejoy) Doyon and her birth name was Kathleen Ada Doyon.

She began living with her foster parents, the Tanguays in Auburn when she was six months old. When she was nine months old, she was adopted by Armen and Diane Dostie of Augusta.

She loved being with people and she was lovable. She was a talented musician, played the keyboard and loved to sing.

She was a happy person. Her favorite color was pink and she loved her grandmother, Katie Lovejoy.

She graduated with honors from Cony High School in Augusta. She was married for seven years and had no children. She was buried in Holy Family Cemetery in Augusta.
