JAY – Police are investigating a motor vehicle burglary on Marcello Street that netted several dollars in change.
Someone reported Monday a small amount of change had been taken from an unlocked vehicle there, Detective Russell Adams said.
In a separate incident, Adams charged Jonathan LaBrecque, 22, of Jay with possession of a schedule W drug: hydrocodone.
Adams said he was on a routine patrol when he came across LaBrecque and others allegedly partying on Water Tower Lane. LaBrecque was arrested on a warrant for failure to pay fines, Adams said, and that’s when the two painkiller tablets were allegedly found in his possession.
