Farmington – Beryl A. Julius, 76, a longtime resident of Livermore Falls, died Saturday, July 26, at Franklin Memorial Hospital.

She was born in Livermore on July 11, 1927, the only child of John and Zilla Phillips Julius. She was a 1945 graduate of Livermore Falls High School, and Bliss Business College in Lewiston. Upon graduation, she worked in the office at Livermore Shoe Company in Livermore Falls, retiring after 36 years of service.

After her retirement, she was a fixture on Route 4 in Livermore, where she sold her lawn sale goods until her recent illness and heart surgery. She was very fond of spiritual music, poetry, and watching figure skating on the television. Over the years, she published many of her poems and won several awards.

She will be sadly missed by many friends she made over the years. She was predeceased by her parents and her closest friend and soulmate, Leo Jeffrey, whom she loved dearly.
