• Russell D. Lee, 41, of Danforth, backed a tractor-trailer into a vehicle driven by Gerald S. Whalen, 45, of Auburn, while Whalen was stopped in traffic at 2:23 p.m. Monday at 1813 Washington St. Damage to Whalen’s 1988 GMC was estimated at $3,500. There was no damage to the 1993 Western Star, driven by Lee and owned by Darrell Tibbetts of Livermore.
