1933 – 2003
LEWISTON – Janine C. Grenier, 70, of 21 Malo St., died Friday, July 25, at home with her family at her side.
She was born in Lewiston Feb. 23, 1933, the daughter of Ronaldo and Gertrude (Ouellette) Cailler. She was educated in Lewiston schools, graduating in 1951 from Lewiston High School and from Auburn School of Commerce in 1953.
On Nov. 25, 1954, she married Alphee L. Grenier. She was an avid hockey and basketball fan, and enjoyed dining out. She will be remembered as a dedicated wife, mother, sister, grandmother, a loyal friend and compassionate, giving woman whose love and spirit will never fade. There are no words to express how deeply she will be missed.
Survivors include her husband of 48 years, Alphee L. Grenier; one son, Richard (Monique) Grenier of Lewiston; two daughters, Michelle Maybury and her companion Don Parks of Westbrook; Maria (Dan) Labonte of Auburn; five grandchildren, Kathleen and Amanda Grenier of Lewiston, Cory Maybury of Westbrook, Dustin Lynn and Kendra LaBonte both of Auburn; two brothers and their wives, Ronaldo (Dorothy) Cailler of Poland, Robert (Carmen) Cailler of Lewiston; one sister, Dolores Bergeron of Lewiston; and sister-in-law, Yvette (Richard) St. Laurent of Lewiston; many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents; and a brother-in-law, Paul Bergeron.
