LEWISTON – Beatrice Driscoll, 74, a resident of Odd Fellows Home in Auburn, died Monday night, July 28, at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center with a special niece by her side.

She was born in Auburn on Feb. 5, 1929, the daughter of Francis and Annie (Sullivan) Driscoll. She was a graduate of Edward Little High School. “Bea” worked at St. Jules Rectory in Weston, Mass., for much of her career.

She is remembered by friends and family as a kind and generous person who had a terrific sense of humor. She was an ardent reader and was very artistic having made many facial portraits.

She enjoyed walking, visiting with relatives, listening to her collection of classical music, and volunteering many hours while living in Massachusetts. She was very fond of her many nieces and nephews and will be sadly missed by all.

She is survived by four sisters, Dorothy Driscoll of Lewiston, Rosalie Hames of Waltham, Mass., Elizabeth Bodwell of Andover, and Mary Tucker of Tacoma, Wash.; and by one brother, William Driscoll of Gray.

She was predeceased by two sisters, Catherine Wilie and Marguerite Doughty; and by three brothers, Frank, John, and Daniel Driscoll.
