SOUTH PARIS – The door of the Good Cheer Hall of the South Paris Universalist Church will open at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 2, for the annual summer church fair which will feature the lobster roll luncheon and tables of sales items.
Good Cheer members Dairne Russell, Marilyn Hammond and Marguerite Johnson will attend the table with various items.
Other members will assist with tables for the home-baked items, collectibles and antiques, handmade crafts and goods, used out-of-print books in good condition and luncheon tables.
There will be rolls with chicken salad for those who do not want lobster rolls. The dessert will be Sylvia Niemi’s eclair special. The luncheon will be served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and will cost $6. The fair will be open until 2 p.m.
The second organ concert of the summer will be held at 7 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 10, featuring Forest Perkins and special singers. The church is located on Pine Street within sight of Market Square.
