KINGFIELD – Stadler Gallery at 225 Main St. will present “Five Women: Photographic Works by Tiffany Teske,” a Kingfield photographer, during August.

These nudes, originally captured on slide film, were altered using a hands-on technique of Polaroid Image Transfer with which she produces dreamlike, one-of-a-kind miniature prints, each approximately 3-inches by 4-inches.

Teske has an associate’s degree in photography and a bachelor’s degree in studio art and photography, both magna cum laude, from the University of Maine at Augusta.

She is a member of Upcountry Artists, and Wedding and Portrait Photographers International. She has been awarded the distinction of master photographer by the International Freelance Photographers Organization. Teske has been a freelance writer and photographer with the Sun Journal since 1999. She has owned Olde Sage Photography in Kingfield since 1998.

The public is invited to an opening reception on from 2 to 4 p.m, Sunday, Aug. 3. Teske will be on hand to answer questions about the process. The show will run from Aug. 1 to 31. Gallery hours are daily from noon to 4 p.m. and by appointment. For more information, people can contact Ulrike Stadler at 207.265.5025 or Tiffany Teske at tiffany@oldesage.com.
