DIXFIELD – The Dixfield Bicentennial Committee is sponsoring Dixfield Art, an art show that will be on display at the Ludden Memorial Library, Main Street, during the town’s annual Outdoor Market on Sunday, Aug. 17. Entrants may submit any scenes of Dixfield township to the Ludden Memorial Library prior to Aug. 17. Any medium may be submitted as well as any age group. Suggestions include old Sayer photos, old paintings by grandmother, new photos, pencil sketches, etc. as long as Dixfield is depicted.

A $200 prize will be awarded for the best depiction of Dixfield with the Bicentennial Committee retaining the picture. Other awards will also be given. For more information phone Alice McKay Barnett at 491-8100.
