PARIS – An affordable Business Plan Basics program is being offered to support small business in the Oxford Hills.

Barb Olson, vice president of the Growth Council of Oxford Hills, said the program is similar to a Fast Trak business plan program offered a few years ago, but is more affordable.

The cost is $85, plus a $45 materials fee.

The 10-week course, from Sept. 22 to Nov. 24, will provide participants with the opportunity to develop a strategic plan for their business. Olson said the program is suitable for people who have already begun a business and also for those who are planning to go into business.

Participants will have a chance to network and learn from each other, and get expert advice about business development and management.

The program offers 30 hours of business development training, using the NxLevel Training Curriculum.

By the end of the course, each participant will develop a business plan with goals for their business.

Janice Devlin Bolduc will be the teacher for the program, which is a project of the Oxford Hills Business Development Network.

To register, people may phone Oxford Hills Adult Education at 743-8842, ext. 1, or e-mail jgreen@sad17.k12.me.us.
