GREENE — Ed Morris will appear at the Sawyer Memorial on Thursday, Aug. 7, and Friday, Aug. 8, to entertain with his “Magic of the Mind,” a program offering ESP, telepathy, hypnosis and other tricks of the imagination. Performances will be at 7 p.m.

A 2 p.m. Friday matinee will be the annual children’s program, “Comedy Magic and Balloon Zoo.” Children should be accompanied by an adult.

Morris is one of the best known and busiest showmen in Maine. He holds degrees in education and a professional resume, which includes teacher, guidance counselor, private school headmaster, educational director and superintendent for the Maine Department of Mental Health.

He is a celebrated showman on stage throughout New England, presenting his show at clubs, dinners and conventions. He has performed at hotels, resorts and cabarets. He’s been a featured entertainer on major radio and television shows.

Admission is free, the auditorium is air-conditioned, and doors open one hour before the show. The Sawyer Memorial is located at 371 Sawyer Road.
