1904 – 2003
LEWISTON – Agathe (Aggie) Goulet, 99, formerly of 59 Hevey St., Lewiston died unexpectedly Tuesday, Aug. 5, at Russell Park Manor, where she had been a beloved resident for three and a half years.
She was born in Lac Megantic, P.Q., Canada, March 22, 1904, the daughter of Arsene and Marie (Veilleux) Plante. She was educated in private Canadian schools and a normal school graduate.
She was the widow of Ernest Goulet, who died in February of 1977. She was a member of Holy Family Parish for 68 years. She was a member of Lewiston Senior Citizens, Ladies of St. Anne and an avid supporter of St. Jude’s Shrine. She loved her family dearly, remembered all the birthdays and celebrations, until the very end.
Survivors include one son, Gerald R. Goulet and his wife Marlene of Goodrich, MI.; one daughter, Muriel D. and her husband Dr. Lawrence A. Nadeau of Lewiston; five grandchildren, Michael L. Nadeau and his wife Jan, Gisele M. Nadeau, Rachel Lutts and her husband Robert, Daniel R. Nadeau and his wife Donna Ceglia and Mark Goulet; seven great-grandchildren, Jeremy and Jonathan Nadeau, Peter, Madeleine and Philip Lutts, Julie and Jason Goulet.
