AUBURN – Festival Plaza will rock with the music of One Five One at 7 p.m. Friday, Aug. 8.

The band will begin its musical renderings with a set list that varies from traditional favorites, such as Etta James, to contemporary rock and funk.

“The band’s music showcases the powerful and alluring vocals of Kenya Hall,” said Laurie Smith, Auburn’s community relations manager. “Kenya brings to the stage a commanding and engaging presence, one not to be missed.”

One Five One’s musical style has its roots in many styles of music, encompassing everything from reggae and R&B, to soul and swing. These many influences can be heard and felt in One Five One’s musical delivery.

All Festival Friday concerts are free, as well as the Saturday Night at the Movies. This Saturday the movie is “Ghostbusters” starring Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Sigourney Weaver, Harold Ramis, Rick Moranis and Annie Potts. The movie will begin at dusk.

All the events are made possible due to local sponsors.
