LIVERMORE FALLS – Members of the East Livermore-Moose Hill Extension have been informed that the fall state meeting of Cooperative Extension will be Sept. 12 and 13 in Machias at the Machias Motor Inn.

The Livermore Extension and the EL-MH group will co-host a kickoff luncheon for Twin County Cooperative Extension at the North Livermore Baptist Church at a date that will be announced in the future. A raffle will be held with proceeds to benefit Twin County.

A program on financial planning is scheduled Sept. 25 at First Baptist Church in Livermore Falls is.

This will teach caregivers about financial and legal issues they may encounter in the life and death of family members and loved ones.

Included will be an explanation of the differences in a will, a living will, durable power of attorney, conservatorship and guardianship.

The aim of the program is to develop an action plan to help caregivers to prepare for the incapacitation of a loved one.

The meeting will be open to the public.
