LEWISTON – A female pedestrian was hit by a car Friday around 10:40 p.m. on Canal Street. Lewiston Police Department were searching for the vehicle involved in the hit-and-run accident. The juvenile was transported to CMMC complaining of leg pain.

The accident is under investigation.
