FARMINGTON – An application to place a 150-foot cell phone tower on Titcomb Hill Road will be just one of many members of the Farmington Planning Board will consider Monday evening.

U.S. Cellular has submitted an application to place a wireless telecommunications facility on property owned by the Farmington Village Corporation on Titcomb Hill Road.

Planning board members will also give the thumbs up or down to an application from SAD 9 to place a 64-foot by 56-foot modular building to house four classrooms at the high school and a separate application from the University of Maine at Farmington to expand the existing playground at the Farmington Child Care Center located at 112 Maguire St.

The meeting will be held at 7 p.m., Monday, Aug. 11 ,at the Town Office.
