Church hosts kids program
RUMFORD – A youth summer program, “Lighthouse Kids,” with Christian values, education, games, Old and New Testament lessons, Journey with Jesus, gifts, snacks and a Christmas in August party is planned. It is for children in kindergarten through grade 6, older youths and families from 9 a.m. to noon Thursday, Friday and Saturday, Aug. 14, 15 and 16, at the Rumford Point Congregational Church. A family cookout will be held at noon Saturday, Aug. 16.
