BRIDGTON – A reception for the appointive grand officers for 2003-2004 serving for Gloria J. Bowen, worthy grand matron, and William H. Stretton, worthy grand patron, Grand Chapter of Maine, Order of the Eastern Star, will be held on Saturday, Aug. 16, at the Bridgton Masonic Hall, Route 117.
Grand officers being honored are Keith Hall, chaplain, of Oakland; Rebecca Johnson, marshal, of Pittsfield; Patricia Beal, organist, of Springvale; Cynthia Adams, Adah, of Portland; Charlene Cox, Ruth, of Jay: Roma Pelletier, Esther, of Arundel; Betty Perkins, Martha, of Auburn; Gladys Moore, Electa, of Industry; Rebecca Atwater, warden, of Steuben.
A receiving line will be held from 2 to 3 p.m. with the reception to begin at 3. All Eastern Star members, Masons and friends are welcome. A reception will be held afterward.
