STRONG – Bonnie Scott was recently named Employee of the Month at Strong Nursing Home.

Scott is a CNA and has recently been promoted to a developmental trainer on the day shift. Her responsibilities include providing physical care for the residents and assisting other CNAs on her shift to run training programs to help the residents become more independent. She is noted as having a great rapport with the residents and frequently can assist staff to understand residents’ needs.

Scott lives in Phillips and is planning an August wedding to Ray Searles III. She is also going to school at Kennebec Valley Community College in Waterville. In May of 2004 she will graduate with an associate degree in nursing. She thinks maternity would be a fun place to work as an RN.

Scott works full time at Strong Nursing Home as well as going to school full time. She said she was grateful to have time off from school this summer in order to complete the wedding details. Spending time with friends and enjoying her two dogs and cat are frequent pastimes.
