LEWISTON – Maine Public Broadcasting has hired Bonnie Adams as director of major and planned gifts.

Adams is the former owner and president of Lewiston Travel Bureau. She is an active community board member who serves on the boards of Auburn Savings Bank, Maine Music Society, Androscoggin County United Way and others. She is also a former trustee for Maine Public Broadcasting, a Maine advisory board member for U.S. Small Business Administration, a trustee of Thomas College, and a White House delegate on small business. Adams has received the Woman of the Year Award by Lewiston-Auburn Business and Professional Women, and has been recognized as the Maine Entrepreneur of the Year from the Maine Society of Entrepreneurs.

Adams attended Thomas College and the University of Maine at Augusta and currently lives in Auburn.

Tastefully Simple promotes Morin

LEWISTON – Charlotte Morin of Lewiston has been promoted to team leader by Tastefully Simple Inc., a national direct sales company selling upscale, convenience-driven gourmet foods.

She has successfully sponsored three consultants who market Tastefully Simple products through in-home presentations. During these interactive taste-testing parties, guests receive easy meal ideas, recipes and entertainment suggestions. Products are received at the party and gift boxes may be ordered for personal and corporate gifts.

In return for training and supporting these new consultants, Morin earns monthly leadership checks from Tastefully Simple, Inc. based on the team’s wholesale volume.
