1917 – 2003

LEWISTON – Mary Ann “Doris” Levesque, 86, of Auburn died Tuesday, Aug. 12, at d’Youville Pavilion.

She was born in Augusta on July 6, 1917, the daughter of Frank and Mamie (Rousseau) Harvey. She was a graduate of Edward Little High School Class of 1935.

On Feb. 23, 1946 she married Gerard Levesque who died on Feb. 8, 1998. She had worked in the local shoe industry in her younger years. She enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family.

She is survived by one daughter, Linda and her husband Andrew Herzog of Wellesley, Mass.; two stepgrandchildren, Lucy Herzog of Brookline, Mass., and Carolyn Herzog of Quincy, Mass.

She was predeceased by two sisters, Helena Hamilton and Rita Clark.
