1936 – 2003
LEWISTON – Victorin H. Veilleux, 67, of Maine Avenue, Farmingdale, died unexpectedly Aug. 12, at St. Mary’s Hospital surrounded by his family.
He was born in St. Martin, P.Q., Canada, on July 29, 1936, the son of Leonard Veilleux and Gertrude (Veilleux) Veilleux. Mr. Veilleux was educated in Canada. “Victor” married Laurette LeClair on Sept. 1, 1962.
He was a longtime employee of Jean Pepin Drywall in Augusta and was also employed by Roland’s Drywall of Sabattus for several years and Bates Manufacturing Co. for several years.
He was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church. He enjoyed spending time with his family, camping and horse racing.
Survivors include his wife, Laurette Veilleux of Farmingdale; three sons, Patrick and his wife Pam of Farmingdale, Victor and his wife Kim of Lewiston and Daniel of Farmingdale; five grandchildren, Lindsey and Zachary Veilleux of Augusta, Kayla, Kylee and Kameron Veilleux of Lewiston; stepgrandson, Sam Snow of Farmingdale; and many brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews.
