NEW GLOUCESTER – More than 200 artists have been invited to participate in the Fiddlehead Center for the Arts Autumn Celebration: A Fresh Paint Event and Auction on Saturday, Sept. 27. Artists paint during the day, followed by an auction of their piece that evening.

Fiddlehead Center for the Arts is a multi-community arts center where children and adults can be directly involved in the performing, visual and creative arts and sciences.

“Our location on the Pineland campus and the surrounding rural environment lends itself so beautifully to the arts, there are sources of inspiration everywhere,” said Mary Jo Marquis, artistic director.
