The Auburn mayor drank three beers and then drove. He got what anyone else would have, and he deserves whatever verdict the court sees fit.

Believe me, alcohol and driving, even three drinks, do not mix. I can show you many graves of people who were victims of people who thought drinking and driving was no problem.

My son, a victim of one of these drivers, lives a life with a head injury and metal in his legs and pelvis. But by the time the driver was tested, he was considered legal, too.

I praise the police department and wish they would sit outside drinking establishments and arrest all of those who have been drinking. The mayor should stick to soda.

His tears mean nothing to people who have been victims of those who had “only a couple of beers.”

Thankfully, he didn’t hit someone on his way to the city building. His embarrassment would be nothing compared to what it could have been. Maybe this will be all it takes to make him and others think.
