1945 – 2003

LEWISTON – Doris D. Michaud, 58, of 16 Grove St., Lewiston, died Wednesday morning, Aug. 13, at her residence with her family by her side, following a long illness.

Born in Lewiston, May 25, 1945, the daughter of Reginald and Carmen (Boucher) Daigle, she had been a resident of this community all of her life.

She was employed in the local shoe industry as a foreman until the year 2000, then was currently employed as a currier at Central Maine Medical Center.

She was a member of Holy Family Church. Mrs. Michaud enjoyed traveling and most of all loved spending time with her family.

She is survived by her husband, Chanel Michaud, whom she married on March 18, 1994 of Lewiston; one daughter, Carmen Kirouac and her husband, Mark of Lewiston; one son, Ronald Pinard and his wife, Darlene of Greene; three grandchildren, Kymberly Kirouac of Lewiston and Amanda and Alex Pinard, both of Greene; two sisters, Jackie Thomas of Poland and Nancy Ketchum of Arizona; several nieces and nephews and extended family.

She was predeceased by one brother, Fred Senee.
