LITCHFIELD – A retreat on the “Spirituality of Inner Healing” will be offered on Friday and Saturday, Sept. 12 and 13, at the Dominican Sisters’ Retreat Center.

Beginning on Friday evening, the overnight retreat for Christian women is designed to initiate or deepen the emotional healing process.

Individuals interested in the retreat include women who yearn to deepen their relationship with God, desire greater self-understanding, struggle with self-esteem, want to initiate or further their study of scripture, are seeking a release from wounds from childhood or adult relationships, or who suspect or know they have health problems related to emotional issues.

The retreat presenter, Nancy Dubord, has a master of theology degree from St. Michael’s College and is a registered counselor with the state. Her background includes various church ministries, social work and working with survivors in incest and domestic violence.
