I have a copy of the regulations regarding the display of the American flag. The flag is being displayed incorrectly, and it’s wrong.

I do not argue that it’s OK to show flags with the field of blue reversed on busses, airplanes and on uniforms, understanding we are looking at a flay.

I do, however, take issue with our flag draping over a podium in full view of a TV audience with the field of blue displayed to the right. Has the flag been put reversed or are flags being manufactured this way?

This is a sign of disrespect for the flag.

As I try to alert people to what’s going on, it seems we have forgotten our heritage. There is a disregard for displaying our flag.

I went to a store and looked at a bag for sale. Attached to the price tag was, and only on one side, a cardboard flag with the field of blue to the right with the type saying “made in America.” Baloney. I say, made in America via red China.

Is it OK in our new enlightened society not to care what and how we display our flag?

My personal theory is the manufacturers of flags with the field of blue to the right unless for display on busses or airplanes or our military uniforms needs investigation.

What might wake up America is for the Post Office to issue flag stamps with the field of blue to the right.
